Ahmad Zakie currently serves as Independent Non-Executive Chairman of public-listed industrial material company, Sorento Capital Bhd, Non-Executive Independent Director for Phillip Capital, as well as Executive Chairman of Kiarafics Sdn Bhd, a strategic think-tank for government-linked companies and is also a non-executive director of public-listed infrastructure and property development company, LFE Corporation Bhd, a infra builder and data centres developer for high-tech companies such as Google.

Having served and led various multinational and government-linked corporations, including as Chief Executive Officer for Federation of Investment Managers Malaysia (FIMM), Perbadanan Menteri Besar Negeri Kelantan and Permodalan Terengganu Berhad Asset Management as well as Executive Director of SJ Securities Sdn Bhd, Mr. Ahmad Zakie was also appointed to various voluntary positions in his field of expertise, including as Investment Advisor to Amanah Saham Kedah Berhad, Amanah Saham Terengganu Berhad and as Investment Committee for the Malaysian Examination Council. His illustrious experience includes both in nurturing talent and future leaders, adding from his long service years as Head of Organisational Learning Division for Maybank Group and Director of Corporate Affairs for UEM Group Berhad.

Ahmad Zakie remains an influential keynote speaker, presenter and columnist for the Edge Financial Weekly, entitled “Every Day Matters” since 2013. He holds a Bachelor of Economics, Hons. degree from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and a Master of Accounting Science degree from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, Illinois, USA.
